Our Organic Tanzania coffee delivers a bold, untamed cup that’s rich, layered, and unmistakably expressive. Fresh roasted in small batches, this African coffee offers a distinctive profile—often described as wild in the best possible way—with depth, complexity, and flavors that linger long after the last sip.
This organic coffee is sourced from smallholder producers across the Kilimanjaro and Arusha regions, including farms in Hai and Moshi Rural districts, as well as the Meru district near Arusha. These farmers typically manage 1–2 hectare plots, intercropping coffee with bananas and avocados, which supports soil health and long-term sustainability.
The coffee is fully washed and processed directly on the farms using locally made hand pulpers, bucket fermentation, and raised drying beds—a hands-on approach that preserves clarity while allowing the coffee’s natural complexity to shine.
In the cup, expect deep, rich flavors layered with spices, herbs, and subtle floral notes, balanced by vibrant fruit tones of raspberry, blueberry, and orange. A grounding note of dark chocolate ties everything together, creating a beautifully structured and memorable cup.
