Urgent Support Needed for Homeless Air Force Veteran & high school aged Child and 10-year Air Force veteran mother is currently unhoused in living in their vehicle in Arizona. After an injury left her quadriplegic, exorbitant out-of-pocket caregiver costs drained her resources.
Her situation is critical due to major systemic gaps:
VA Status: The VA denied service-connected status for her injury, blocking vital assistance.
Housing Gaps: Local SSVF programs lack ADA-accessible housing, though applications for HUD-VASH are underway.
